Data classification taxonomy

As time moves on, systems change, processes change, technology changes - ongoing assessment is vital to ensure your compliance stance remains robust.

Getting data classification right requires input from across the business. It requires compliance and IT to work in partnership to translate business requirements into technical design for deployment, not forgetting the people and process change that is vital for success.
Without previous experience, it’s tricky to manage these cross-departmental, business wide conversations. Discussions often span a wider remit than technology and require buy-in from all stakeholders. External facilitation by experts can help to unlock engagement.

Our Advisory

Our tech savvy, legally trained experts will invite representatives from all relevant areas of the business to engage in a dynamic process to understand requirements for classification.

We carry out initial surveys to save time in the workshop sessions, which are valuable face time to review and facilitate highly productive decision-making.  Because sessions are interactive, you have every opportunity to ask questions of and draw from the experience of our experts.

Our approach is proven to not only land a taxonomy, but promotes buy-in for recommendations and strengthens the compliance culture.

You will leave with a well designed and documented taxonomy to form the backbone to Office 365 compliance capabilities, and a methodology for its sustainable success.

The level of input and engagement throughout the process brings confidence that the taxonomy is fit for purpose and will see high levels of adoption. The documentation also serves to illustrate commitment to your compliance obligations.

Throughout you will take away Microsoft-centric and pragmatic recommendations for your onward compliance journey.
